Elizabeth “Betsy” Spruill earns Certified Association Executive credential

ELIZABETH “BETSY” SPRUILL EARNS CERTIFIED ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE CREDENTIAL

Washington, DC – ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) has announced that Elizabeth “Betsy” Spruill, account executive, of the CMI Association Management Division of MJH Life Sciences®, has recently earned the certified association executive (CAE) designation. The CAE represents the highest professional credential in the association industry.

“CMI is a health care association management company, and our clients expect us to perform at the top of our professional credentials. To be designated as a CAE, an applicant must have experience with nonprofit organization management, complete a minimum of 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management and pledge to uphold a code of ethics. To maintain the certification, individuals must undertake ongoing professional development and activities in association and nonprofit management. More than 4,500 association professionals currently hold the CAE credential. The CAE program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.

Spruill’s achievement reflects her continuous pursuit of professional growth and development, as well as her commitment to serving the needs of association and their members. With the CAE designation, she joins an esteemed group of professionals who have earned this distinction, demonstrating their commitment to upholding the highest standards of association management.
